2020 Breaking ground for a new hospital/What NETwork Is Doing

Network Against Malaria exists to raise awareness of the plight of Malaria in Uganda and to raise funds for malaria prevention/relief, particularly through the use of long-lasting insecticide-treated bed nets.  In addition, NETwork Against Malaria provides community education on health and wellness to halt the new cases of malaria and to create a healthy living and learning environment.

In Uganda:
OUR NEW HOSPITAL!!!
Our partners in Uganda have recommended that in addition to fighting malaria via prevention with bednets, that we expand our current ability to care for very sick patients by expanding our hospital facilities in Uganda.  We will increase our ability to care fo sicker patients and increase services available to the very rural patients served by the existing Katulikire Health Center.

We have broken ground on the nursing quarters. We estimate we will have to raise an additional $200,000.  We appreciate your continued support.

In the United States:

NETwork Against Malaria is operated by members of local chapters with guidance and approval from the national NETwork Against Malaria organization.  Local chapters facilitate creative and interactive opportunities for education and fundraising within their own community. NETwork Against Malaria partners with schools, churches, Girls and Boys Scout organizations, youth groups, local charities, shops, and individuals interested in enabling people in Uganda.  Activities include presentations, fundraising, and jewelry making.  Groups often create their own unique projects such as all-school penny wars and jewelry sales.
